The Kitty Pants Ranch is currently hiring for several at-will, contract positions.
To be eligible for ANY position candidates must meet these minimum qualifications:
hold a high school diploma or GED (2 years college credit ~aprox. 60 credits~ in a related field of study preferred)
love nature & animals
be a minimum of 21 years of age
be able to work legally in the United States
be fluent in English
be trustworthy
provide own protective gear (mask, gloves, etc...)
be comfortable with animals
have reliable transportation
pay attention to detail
provide two professional references known for a minimum of three years that are not relatives
sign liability waiver and confidentiality agreement

POSITION: RANCH HAND/ASSISTANT
Seeking: up to 2 persons
Terms: 1 shift, Wed., Fri., or Saturday 10AM-3PM, at will week to week (4 hours a week with 1 hr unpaid lunch), each candidate with possible additional hours available in the future for special projects
Duties - assist property/business owner(s) with gardening/arbor/property upkeep, habitat rehabilitation, light construction/building, dump runs, materials preparation, project preparation, animal care, etc...
Eligibility - Candidates must:
be able to dig a hole and fill it back up
lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
passionate about Art and the care of the planet, particularly forests
enjoy working with their hands
not be afraid of animals or insects
Compensation & Accommodations - $16.25 an hour, restroom, water, & lunch provided (one hour unpaid break), free parking
POSITION: FIGURE DRAWING MODELS
Seeking: a total of two persons (1 male, 1 female) all body types welcome
Terms: up to 80 (qt), 3 hour sessions (Tues. and/or Thurs. 10AM-1PM) for a specific series of work
Duties - nude & draped, solo & partnered (non-sexual, minimal contact) posing in a private outdoor setting for a series of new work
Eligibility - Candidates must be:
have past modeling experience (portfolio encouraged but not required, academic experience preferred)
able to hold a pose for up to 45 minutes
practice good hygiene
Compensation & Accommodations - $20 an hour per person per 3 hour session paid by check at end of session, restroom, two 15 minute breaks, free parking
POSITION: INSTRUMENTAL ACCOMPANIMENT - guitar and/or piano
Seeking: 1 person
Terms: 6 hours a month (4 afternoons @ 1.5 hrs) at will on-going
Duties - play acoustic and/or electric guitar and/or piano (on site), co-write original music, play select covers
Eligibility - Candidates must:
have been playing guitar and/or piano for a minimum of 5 years (link to performance clip required)
have your own guitar, standard up-right piano is available on-site but you may bring your own electric keyboard if preferred
have an evolved and eclectic musical sense
be able to improvise
be able to read music and write out chord sheets
Compensation & Accommodations - $20 per session paid by check at end of session, provided lunch, shared credit and listing on all materials for any performance/recording and/or original music, shared (TBD) proceeds on any monetary profit, free parking
POSITION: HANG DRUM PLAYER
Seeking: one person
Terms: 10AM - 11:30AM Sunday, weekly
Duties - play Hang live for weekly personal yoga/dance practice
Eligibility - Candidates must:
be able to improvise
have been playing Hang for at least 3 years (link to performance clip required)
Compensation & Accommodations - $20 per session paid by check at end of session, plus brunch, credit and listing on any published media
POSITION: HOUSEKEEPER
Seeking: one person
Terms: 10AM - noon, 2 times a month
Duties - deep clean 2 bathrooms
Eligibility - Candidates must:
Meet basic qualifications as listed at top of page.
Compensation & Accommodations - $25 an hour paid by check at end of shift. Free parking and all cleaning supplies provided.
