Ugh. Thank God for Yoga. At Yoga/dance practice this morning I was reminded that all healing takes time and Yoga is an excellent doctor. My foot is totally healed and back to normal, but since my fall at the roller rink in January I still have some recovery to tend to. My hip and buttock are back to normal, but in the time it took for that to heal I have lost a bit of flexibilty and it's frustrating. Plus, my arm is still giving me some trouble. It had been feeling quite a bit better but then I gave in to Brody's peas to play fetch with a stick and he pulled on my arm a bit too hard. I think a good solid restorative Yoga session or two are in order. Restorative Yoga is wonderful for soft tissue injury. I could go find a class, but it will be much easier to just do it for myself. So I guess that's what I'm gonna do.

In the meantime, painting is coming along as is the novella. Chapter 3 is done! Read Chapter 3: Old Dykes Pointing Fingers here. This year's novella is just full of surprises.
